Little Mekong Small Business Relief Grant - Rebuilding Our Community

AEDA has launched a $100,000 grant to support Little Mekong businesses financially devastated by the recent ICE immigration crackdown. We are providing critical relief to local shops striving to recover from the fear, violence, and intimidation that severely impacted their revenue.

Fighting Back Against Fear and Financial Devastation

The recent ICE immigration crackdown has inflicted deep, undeniable financial harm on the heart of our community. Through a hostile campaign of arrests, violence, and blatant intimidation in and surrounding the Little Mekong District, federal actions have terrorized our neighborhood.

The chilling effect was immediate and destructive. Terrified customers stayed away, and fearful employees were forced into the shadows, draining the lifeblood of our local economy. The shops, restaurants, and services that make Little Mekong vibrant have been left to suffer crippling losses in revenue through no fault of their own.

Solidarity and Survival

AEDA refuses to stand by while our community is targeted and our hard-working entrepreneurs are economically starved. In direct response to this crisis, we have established the $100,000 Little Mekong Small Business Relief Grant.

This fund is an act of fierce solidarity. While we recognize that $100,000 cannot entirely erase the financial devastation caused by these aggressive crackdowns, it will provide a critical modicum of relief.

By distributing these funds, we aim to support up to 20 deeply impacted businesses, helping them keep their doors open, meet immediate operational needs, and fiercely strive to recover.

Support Little Mekong's Future

Little Mekong businesses anchor the Little Mekong District. They’re resilient, but they need immediate backing to survive this unjust disruption. AEDA is actively raising additional funds to extend this vital lifeline to even more impacted businesses.
