About The Small Business Cohort

Join the Small Business Cohort, a 12-week mentorship and training program of our Learn and Earn Fellowship, where the entrepreneurial landscape is shaped by thought-leaders. Delve into strategic thinking, influential leadership, and seasoned guidance. Fuel your drive with determination, drawing wisdom from pioneers and resilience from accomplished leaders. This space accelerates business mastery, shapes industry perspectives, and propels you as a pioneering entrepreneur. It's where aspiring business leaders converge under mentorship and pursue success.

The Small Business Cohort provides a well-rounded approach to small business management and entrepreneurship. Participants will engage in hands-on workshops covering planning, finance, marketing, and operations. Emphasis on fostering entrepreneurial spirit and leadership ensures a practical experience.

Program Eligibility:

Looking to start a business within the next 12 months OR already owns an established and/or existing business
Must be a resident of Minnesota
Must be at least 18+ years and older
Must be able to attend all evening workshops

Application Opening & Deadline:

Application Opens: Monday, January 8th, 2024
Application Closes: Sunday, February 11th, 2024
Applicant Updates: Wednesday, February 14th, 2024

Stipend and Eligibility:

Stipend: Each fellow will receive a stipend of $1,000 upon successful completion of the fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should either be planning to start a business within the next 12 months or already own an established business.
Residency: Applicants must be residents of Minnesota, with priority given to those from Ramsey County.
Attendance: All participants should commit to attending all evening workshops.

Application Selection Process:

All applicants will be awarded based on eligibility and their application. All eligible applicants will be selected by the staff of Asian Economic Development Association (AEDA).
